FALL LACROSSE PROGRAM DETAILS
We're pleased to announce the details of Northland's 2010 Fall Boys Lacrosse Program:
REGISTRATION DAY:
Sunday, Sept 19 at New Mark MS (515 NE 106th St in Kansas City, North).
YOUTH (Grades 3-8): 1PM. Cost-$25 and valid US Lacrosse membership.
HS (Grades 9-12): 3:30PM. Cost-$10 and valid US Lacrosse membership.
US Lacrosse membership information is available at www.uslacrosse.org. Northland's team number is 2372878.
PRACTICE TIMES & DATES: Both programs run from Sunday, 9/19 to Sunday, 10/31 at New Mark Middle School (515 NE 106th St., Kansas City, North).
YOUTH: Sundays, 2-4 PM & Thursdays, 5:30-7 PM.
HS: Sundays, 4-6 PM.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Lax Helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, protective cup, stick.
Northland does not furnish equipment, but equipment can be acquired at Sports Authority, Dick's or via on-line suppliers.

Northland Lacrosse is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization, and a proud member of US Lacrosse, the Kansas City Youth Lacrosse Association and the Missouri Scholastic Lacrosse Association.
We are the lacrosse program for students residing in the Park Hill, Platte County R-3, North Kansas City, Smithville & Liberty school district areas. Our program extends from 3/4 Grade Youth through Boys & Girls JV and Boys Varsity. As such, we are members of both the KCYLL and the Missouri Scholastic Lacrosse Association (MSLA).
2010 Youth team practices start March 6th at New Mark Middle School (515 NE 106th St. in Kansas City, North). All 2010 practices will be at New Mark.
7/8 & 5/6 games begin March 28th, while 3/4's begin on April 3rd. The league season concludes with the KCYLL Championships on May 23rd.
We field (2) teams in each KCYLL Boys division:
3/4 Grade
Joe DiPonio is our 3/4 Head Coach. Practices are Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:30, and Saturday 9:30-10:30 AM until games begin. 3/4 games are Saturday afternoons.
5/6 Grade Boys
Mike Ryan and Mike Powers are our 5/6 Head Coaches, with assistance from Pete VanTassel. Practices are Monday & Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30, and Saturday 11-12:30 until games begin. 5/6 games will be on Sundays.
7/8 Grade Boys
Ken Bean and Mike Lettera are our 7/8 Head Coaches with assistants Chris Carter, Mike Tarbell, Scott Milburn and Tom Black. Northland-Bean will practice Tuesday & Thursday nights from 5:30-7:30 and Saturday 9-11 AM. Northland-Lettera practices Thursday & Fridays 5:30-7:30, and also Saturday AMs 9-11. Games for 7/8's are on Sundays.
3rd-6th Grade Girls
We also field an intramural Girls Lacrosse program led by Kelly Siebert.
As mentioned earlier, Northland also fields Boys JV/V teams in the Missouri Scholastic Lacrosse Association (MSLA), and a Girls JV program. For more information on these programs, please see:
