Brookside Lacrosse 2010
This year will be our 8th year of playing lacrosse in Brookside. We are excited to bring this great sport to the best neighborhood in Kansas City. There are some exciting changes this year. For starters, Kansas City is the newest chapter of US Lacrosse! This chapter will mean we are no longer dependent on St. Louis to get coaching and officials development programs in place right here in Kansas City. We greatly appreciate all the hard work that was put forth in this effort. Holly Milledge from the Prairie Village Youth Lacrosse Club was one of those who deserves much credit for this so thank her if you see her on the field.
Also, there are many new clubs forming in the area. Leawood, Blue Valley and Lee Summit will be new clubs participating on the boys’ side. The new competition will be great for the league. If you know anyone who lives in that area and would like to play point them to www.kcyll.org to sign them up.
