The purpose of the Kansas City Youth Lacrosse League (KCYLL) is to provide the youth residing within the Kansas City metropolitan area a healthful, enjoyable leisure time activity and as a corollary to develop qualities that may help them in later life, sportsmanship, team play, and integrity.

The league currently consists of seven clubs.  Two school sponsored programs (Pembroke Hill and St. Paul's Episcopal Day School) and six neighborhood clubs (Blue Valley, Brookside, Leawood, Northland, Olathe and Prairie Village).  The season is generally from late march until Memorial Day.  Most games are played on Sunday afternoons and the season ends with a year end tournament for grades 5th through 8th.  Boys grades 2nd-4th play on Saturday afternoons.  Please visit the "Register Online" link to register your child.

No wall ball is to be played at any of our host facilities!!!

Rest rooms will be unavailable at our facilities during games.  Please find a local retailer or super market if you need to use a rest room.

Pick up trash after the games conclusion on all fields.

Show good sportsmanship before, during and after the lacrosse games.  Be a good fan.

We're pleased to announce the details of Northland's 2010 Fall Boys Lacrosse Program:

REGISTRATION DAY: 
Sunday, Sept 19 at New Mark MS (515 NE 106th St in Kansas City, North).
YOUTH (Grades 3-8):  1PM.  Cost-$25 and valid US Lacrosse membership.
HS (Grades 9-12): 3:30PM.  Cost-$10 and valid US Lacrosse membership.
US Lacrosse membership information is available at www.uslacrosse.org.  Northland's team number is 2372878.

PRACTICE TIMES & DATES:  Both programs run from Sunday, 9/19 to Sunday, 10/31 at New Mark Middle School (515 NE 106th St., Kansas City, North).
YOUTH:  Sundays, 2-4 PM & Thursdays, 5:30-7 PM.
HS: Sundays, 4-6 PM.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Lax Helmet, mouthguard, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, protective cup, stick.
Northland does not furnish equipment, but equipment can be acquired at Sports Authority, Dick's or via on-line suppliers.

2010 GIRLS FALL LACROSSE

Any 5th grader thru High School should look into the fall ball for girls lacrosse in KC.  The KC ORANGE ELITE offers clinics for HS and 5-8th graders starting 5 Sep. See the KC Orange Elite Girls Flyer for details
