Welcome to KCYLL′s home on the Web!

The purpose of the Kansas City Youth Lacrosse League (KCYLL) is to provide the youth residing within the Kansas City metropolitan area a healthful, enjoyable leisure time activity and as a corollary to develop qualities that may help them in later life, sportsmanship, team play, and integrity.

The league currently consists of seven clubs. Two school sponsored programs (Pembroke Hill and St. Paul's Episcopal Day School) and five neighborhood clubs (Blue Valley, Brookside, Leawood, Lees Summit, Northland, Olathe and Prairie Village). The season is generally from late march until Memorial Day. Most games are played on Sunday afternoons and the season ends with a year end tournament for grades 5th through 8th. Kansas City Youth Lacrosse League (KCYLL) board meeting will be held on Wed February 17th starting at 6:15pm, held at Lee Jeans Headquarters on the 3rd floor in our Brand Room. Lee Jeans address is One Lee Drive, Merriam, KS 66202.

Building Entry:
Park in the back of the building and enter at the rear east entrance. You'll walk up a walk way to the doors that enter on to the 3rd floor, they will be locked but a security guard will be on duty to allow you access. The Brand Room is immediately to your right as you enter the building.

US Lacrosse Level 1 Coaching Clinic, Feb 6th

US Lacrosse is bringing a Level 1 Coaching Education Clinic to Kansas City, MO on February 6^th. Kansas City is deemed a Fast Break Site from US Lacrosse, meaning that you have the opportunity to take advantage of many of the programs and benefits that we have to offer at a substantial discount.

The Level 1 Coaching Education Clinic is only $10.00, normally it is $65.00. Established in 2005, the Coaching Education Program has trained thousands of coaches. We specifically target:

-New coaches who want to learn more about lacrosse

-Parents who want to learn about the game; safety and sportsmanship

-Players who want to make a successful transition from playing to coaching

I have been playing, coaching, and officiating for more than a decade, and I still continue to learn new, dynamic teaching and coaching methods at each clinic I see.
